A wonderful, beautiful, timeless landscape of upland pasture, moorland fringes, rivers, woodland, small lakes and low hills offering panoramic views. The routes range from a 2 mile walk to an ancient hill fort to a 7.5-mile valley and upland walk. Many of the walks have shorter options to the full walk. The distances given below are for the full walk. Each walk entry begins with a short overview description giving an indication of difficulty and features plus the starting point including grid reference. Detailed route finding instructions follow in numbered paragraphs relating to numbered points on an associated sketch map. A summary chart of the walks gives length, grade, time, links with other walks and terrain features.
