This guide focuses on the charming Quantock Hills in West Somerset with twelve walks, varying from 4 miles to 9 miles in length. The Quantocks are a ridge of hills with a maximum height of 1261ft at Wills Neck. Sitting between the low ground of the Somerset Levels and the higher plateau of Exmoor they extend for 15 miles. The range starts not far from the M5 motorway between Taunton and Bridgwater and extends down into the sea east of Watchet.
