There are walks along cliff top paths with glorious views at Sewerby near Bridlington; through Given Dale, one of the most picturesque spots in the Wolds; along the Wolds Way at Goodmanham with a glorious vista over the Vale of York; beside the peaceful upper reaches of the river Hull at Tickton; and through the delightful woodland of Welton Dale.

Along the way there are many interesting places to see including the attractive estate village of Sledmere situated in rolling countryside; the picturesque village of Hutton Cranswick; and Skidby Windmill, built in 1821, and Yorkshire's last working windmill.
