Mountain and Hill Walking in Snowdonia

Mountain and Hill Walking in Snowdonia

by: Carl Rogers
Snowdonia is one of the most celebrated and spectacular highland areas in the British Isles; a region of hills, mountains and wild moorland occupying the northwest corner of Wales. It has around 100 summits above 600 metres (approximately 2,000 feet) and contains all fifteen of Wales' highest 3,000 feet (914 metres) mountains.

This guide book is one of two volumes which provide in-depth coverage to every summit of note in the Snowdonia National Park. Each recommended route is described in detail and is accompanied by Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 scale mapping with relief shading. All the 26 routes are circular and include information on parking, distance and height gained.

The book has been produced to a very high standard and is packed with stunning full colour photographs. The layout is clear and easy-to-follow and the precise navigation instructions are in numbered paragraphs with the numbers shown on the map, making it easy to see at a glance where you are.
