The walks offer a variety of locations throughout Lancashire's low-lying coastline and several country parks throughout the county. The walks are clearly described and include quality maps and many black and white photographs. Points of interest sections give details of what can be seen on the walks. Essential information is provided in a panel at the beginning of each walk chapter for easy reference. This includes distance, path quality, car parking, starting point grid reference, toilet facilities if available, and OS Explorer map sheet number.
