Kiddiwalks in Lincolnshire

Here is a book of twenty safe walks in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, devised specially with children in mind. Packed with fun things to see and do, each route offers a great day out. The routes are circular with not too many hills and climbs, and distances between 1.5 and 3.5 miles. Some are suitable for buggies.

There is plenty of variety: with rivers and streams ideal for playing pooh sticks; nature trails to follow; woods to play hide-and-seek in; and wide open spaces in which to use up excess energy. There are ducks to feed; a host of place to explore, including a gingerbread trail; and activities, including a scavenger hunt.

Each walk includes information to get to the start, distance and estimated time, terrain, and a panel listing fun things to see and do. Each walk features places for refreshments in recommended cafes or family friendly pubs, or alternatively suggestions for picnic places are given. There are sketch maps to support the route finding instructions which are given in numbered paragraphs corresponding to numbers on the map. Ordnance Survey map references are also provided.
