Great Glen Way Footprint Walking Map Map

The Great Glen Way is a 74-mile (118km) trail along Scotland's Great Glen. The route is fully waymarked from Fort William to Inverness and follows the towpath of the Caledonian Canal, passes through ancient woodlands, and overlooks Loch Ness. The route is mostly low level and follows well maintained tracks as well as the canal towpath. For those wishing to stretch themselves a little more there are two high level alternatives above Loch Ness which offer magnificent views along the glen

This footprint map is divided into 6 sections, each portrayed on a separate panel. The route map is marked in miles, starting in Fort William. Text describing the route accompanies each section. The detailed full colour mapping at a scale of 1:40,000 is based upon Ordnance Survey data. The map, which is printed on both sides, is waterproof and durable and is GPS compatible. It is supplied in a plastic sleeve.
