The 36 routes in this book explore the rich histories and thriving wildlife of these six magical islands, as well as the fine sandy beaches, awe-inspiring cliffs and coves, wild interiors and dramatic mountain ranges which make them so special.

Each walk entry begins with distance, time and terrain together with an outline of the walk area followed by route finding instructions and a simple colour sketch map. Colour photographs are also included throughout the book. The walk locations are grouped into six island sections: Eigg, Rum, Muck, Canna, Coll and Tiree.
