The authors of this full-colour guidebook have taken an innovative approach to navigating you around the Capital Ring using up to date large scale street maps with the route clearly outlined in yellow or blue. Why two colours? Well, they have reduced the 15 official stages into 7 stages of about 11 miles each to create full day walks and the route colour changes for each consecutive stage.

Each page of mapping has a number of text panels providing information on everything of interest along the way, so it's right there when you need it on the map. This often-intriguing information brings alive the richness of the country around you, both past and present, seen and unseen. There are also links to resources to deepen your understanding of whatever has piqued your interest.

There is also an informative introduction, a large whole-route overview map, practical information and suggested route stages to help with planning.
