Walking Around Llandovery Guidebook

Walking Around Llandovery Guidebook

by: Des Marshall
The countryside around Llandovery is unspoilt and very pastoral and a quiet, little known walking area. There are rolling hills, deep valleys, lakes, castles, waterfalls and large tracts of forest. The 23 walks cover the area from Llanwrtyd Wells to Llandeilo and from Talley to Trecastle. This area is to the north of Black Mountain and the Western Brecon Beacons. The Heart of Wales railway runs through Llandovery and a number of the walks are close to the line.

Whatever your level of fitness you will find walks to suit all abilities and tastes. Each walk begins with an overview summary and details of how to get to the start. Clear route finding instructions follow, together with sketch maps.
