The route is clearly described together with a sketch map. There are also stunning colour photographs of views and places visited on the walks. The routes are colour coded according to difficulty:
Green for a short valley walk.
Blue for a low fell walk.
Brown for an intermediate fell walk up to 700m altitude.
Red for a high fell walk up to 1000m altitude.
