The Cotswolds epitomise the romantic notion of the traditional English scene: picture postcard images of rolling green hills overshadowing villages of golden stone cottages, manor houses and majestic churches. There is no better way to experience the setting of this picturesque architecture than to walk from village to village; but first explore and savour the village from whence your walk begins, and then stroll through this rolling landscape of sheep pastures and drystone walls.

This folded map-guide contains ten walks chosen to showcase the best of the North Cotswolds. Its strength lies in the quality of the mapping, which eliminates the need to carry an Ordnance Survey map. The large-scale coloured maps show the route in clear detail and include text boxes pointing to locations where written instructions may be necessary. Side panels give practical information including distance, a time estimate, grade, terrain and path type, suitability for dogs, parking, refreshment facilities and features of interest.
